The 9th Annual Alternative Building Materials and Design Conference Expo will be held this Friday and Saturday in Santa Monica. Sustainable Works will be there exhibiting all weekend.
Samantha Sommer, our Community Sustainability Liaison will be a speaker on Saturday from 1:00pm – 1:45pm in the East Wing.
Samantha will be speaking about Water Issues and Conservation Techniques:
“As Southern California residents, we face two major issues when thinking about our water supply: scarcity and pollution. Come learn an overview of some of the current water challenges we face and learn 10 related conservation techniques that will save water while saving money. Also learn strategies to reduce your contribution to urban runoff to promote healthy drinking water for people and a healthy Santa Monica Bay ecosystem for marine life.”
